Im very appreciate guitarcenter, cause it's fast in in shipping in delivering. I bought a yamaha electric classical guitar i'm so satisfied for thi buying. this guitar sounds great I like so much! Big up guitar center!
This guitar sounds like one that should be priced at twice what the asking price is or more. The electronics on it are great and doesn't feedback through my AER Alpha. No sound hole cover needed. This is truly a great find and stage ready in every detail. If they don't have it in your store, order one, you won't be disappointed.
I have been learning to play classical guitar for a few months now, and I have had the opportunity to play on different models already. My teachers recommended me to purchase a classical guitar but what I was really interested in is the fact that my own guitar should be able to be amplified. Unfortunately, all the guitars offering this feature were too expensive for me, and all the models I came across with that feature were only acoustic ones. When I came across this model on guitarcenter, one thing that was bothering me was that it only had been reviewed by only one customer. But I purchased it anyway, knowing that the brand is a reliable one, and this model offers the possibility to be amplified, without being too expensive. When I received it on June 19, 2014, I fell in love with it immediately because of the warmth of the sound and the projection that it offers. I am not really familiar with all the technical terms when it comes to playing music but I can testify that the sound is rich, and the playability is perfect for beginners. I already played it (unplugged) in my church and by far, it produced a better sound comparing to the other guitars in the band. The instrument itself is not heavy at all. I love the fact that I didn't need to buy a tuner since it's already built-in; just add the batteries and then I am good to go. What I really want to emphasize on is that, as a classical guitar for beginners (also an acoustic one since it can be amplified), the price is amazing!!! The lovely sound makes it ideal for practicing, playing, learning by myself... I find myself practicing more than when I used to play other guitars, and this is just because of its attractive sound. I would definitely recommend it to any beginners. Even if you didn't intend to buy it, just try it once you get to the store...
I played all the classical guitars in my local GC looking for a good fit, feel and sound to take my solo performances into other sonic realms as I have always play a steel string guitar for all my gigs. I played more expensive models like the Cordoba and yes they were very very pretty! But the sound was not there. I played this guitar for about an hour and got lost in the music while I played this guitar unplugged. It has a wide flat neck which is very different from my other steel string guitars. The tone is what sold me. It has a beautiful sustain and although the action is a little high near the 12th fret area, it is still by far better in sound, tone and projection than other guitars in it's price range a little beyond. One word to describe the sound... smooth... I am very happy for this guitar which is a welcome edition to my arsenal. I would highly recommend this guitar to other steel stringers who are looking for that nylon string sound. www.carlosdavid.com
