Comments about Yamaha 7/8-Size Classical Guitar:

I love this guitar because it fits my small hands. I thought all strings would be nylon, but 3 are not. Easy fix.

Yamaha CS40 7/8

By STEVEN PHAM

from Arlington, TX

Comments about Yamaha 7/8-Size Classical Guitar:

Nut size is smaller which work for me, no it's a must for me, I cant play the 52 mm size fret board, it's inhumane!!...I lowered the saddle by sanding 3/32" off and it's butter smooth & even sound a little better, the string is ok. I ordered the D'Addario EJ45 and haven't replaced the factory ones, cant wait. (Yamaha put these EJ45 on their high end classical guitars)...the body is thinner which is fine with me (3.5 inches) The Flamenco guitar has thinner body for fast attack, also thinner body overall. It seems smaller the 7/8 size to me, but not 3/4.......I love this guitar! some of the notes are not as crisp on the G string (the fat treble one). I think the EJ45 will solve the issue...I really enjoy playing this guitar. Ordered it online, so the head stock color is medium brown, not reddish color like the picture here, and with the Yamaha logo of 3 pens looking thingy...and made in Indonesia...it sounds like the C40 if you wonder. No one having it in store for me to test it, but I ordered it anyway and very happy with it.
