An Eye-Catching Guitar at a Jaw-Dropping Price

I just got this guitar the other day after having searched for weeks for the right acoustic-electric for me. Other models I looked at were the APX500 and the Epiphone PR5-E. This guitar outplays the latter and is a step up from the former due to the new top and different finish. The pictures simply do not do it justice; it is a beautiful guitar. It is also a quality manufactured instrument; in no way does it feel cheap. The pre-amp, contrary so some views, is actually very good. The tuner works well, and I find myself using it a lot since these new strings often go out of tune as they are not settled in yet. This guitar sounds absolutely great plugged in. Even with a smaller body, the rich, deep lows can be heard through the amp. The neck is also pretty fast, and the action is above average. I already have received a comment saying that this guitar plays like an electric. It really does. If you are looking in to buying a solid, well-built, and long-lasting acoustic-electric guitar, do not take this off your list of ones to try out. It easily out-played $400 and $500 Takamine guitars and has a bright, rich tone suitable for many types of players. I am more than satisfied!

Best guitar under $800 out there-Hands down!!!!

I was heading to GC (I had put an Ibanez acoustic on layaway a week earlier) and I wanted to play the next step up to see if I wanted to switch! I saw this guitar (now mind you I had played a Yamaha the week before and loved it but the $499 was out of my range) so picked it up and was absolutely blown away! Ya know that whole you got a play the big body acoustics to get the sound? No way Bro, this baby resonates!! Even unplugged it sounds amazing!! The neck totally feels like an electric, the tuner is so reliable, and you can def shape some cool sounds with the EQ! And of course the Flamed Maple top is downright sick! So just for kicks I played everything (Tak, Ibanez Breedlove, Epiphone, ect) under $800! And this guitar destroyed them all, and it wasn't even close! I said Bro no way (and handed him back the Ibanez) and said this is the one! If you're spending under a grand there is no reason you shouldn't be playing this guitar!!! Peace

Love it

I went in to GC a couple of times looking for a thin body acoustic. I already liked the look of this guitar but, once I played it and all the other thin bodied guitars, I knew I wanted this one. The pictures DO NOT do this guitar justice. I originally wanted the black one, but once I saw the Flame Maple, I was in love. The sound is so much more crisp and clean than all the others I played, even the ones that were 2 or 3 hundred dollars more. No it is not as loud as a full bodied acoustic, but it sounds great just the same. I recommend trying every guitar you can get your hands on before buying one, and actually playing it in the store instead of buying online, because every one is different, even from the same line. But if you are looking for a great sounding, beautiful looking guitar, for a very reasonable price, then this is it.

Very Nice Guitar for a cheap price... A real bargain!!

I picked this guitar up recently for a remarkably low price. This looks and feels like a much more expensive guitar. I was looking for an inexpensive guitar that I could take out and not worry too much about it. I also own a Taylor, a high-end Alverez, and a Breedlove 12. Let's face it. There are some places where I don't want to take a guitar in the $1000 to $2000 price range. I won't say this guitar is quite as good as the Taylor or Alvarez, but it's close and it only cost me a fraction of the price ... Amazing at that price !!! It has a nice tone, just not as much volume as a bigger body guitar. I'm sure it is mostly designed to be plugged in, but it is also a nice guitar to play around the house when you don't want too much volume.

Awesome Guitar!!!

I tried out many acoustic electric guitar's but I always came back to this one. It has an AMAZING sound, with absolutely no buzzing. This is my first acoustic electric and it has set the bar really high! I really recommend buying this guitar, you won't be disappointed!
