The Yamaha SubKick Low-Frequency Capture Device employs the natural microphonic qualities of a 6-1/2" woofer shockmounted inside a 7-ply birch/mahogany shell. Mesh heads add a bit of sustain. The shell's natural resonance combined with the heads and speaker create an awesome subfrequency sound. Works great by itself or together with other drum microphones. XLR output for easy hookup.
