Yamaha Corp. is to be congratulated on a very effectively redesigned user interface and the sounds, as always, are pure ear candy. The action? Well, Yamaha makes pianos, don't they? there's just one major flaw: "IT'S TOO FREAKIN' BIG!! One of my primary considerations in choosing a 76-key instrument over an 88 is the gain of that precious extra 4~7 inches of stage area. There's no defensible reason why a 76-key instrument needs to be 52 inches wide. Had the controller wheels been mounted on the upper panel and that ridiculously wide left end block been scrapped, I would have sold a few family members to buy one. As it is, It's not appreciably smaller (or lighter) than my MO8. The fact that it fits perfectly in one of the Gator cases intended for an 88-key instrument is case in point. Sorry, Yamaha, no sale. I can’t wait to buy this 76 key balanced weighted hammer action keyboard,it feels great, there's no difference in the 88 it was about time it came out, instead of me carrying my 88 keys everywhere, and having trouble travelling with it. Yamaha and korg should start making these 76 weighted hammer action.
