These Speakers Give Me What I Want

I do a one man band show playing Drums, Bass, Acoustic, electric, and Vocal through my Yahama EMX512SC mixer, and a pair of these S115V speakers. I was looking for a speaker that would handle all the instruments at a high sound level, AND give a excellent vocal response and presence. These speakers do all that I could ask for. I spent a lot of time comparing them side by side aginst the Yorkville Y115 (which I also own, but will be selling), the Peavey PR 15 (Light and Loud, but poor vocal accuracy), and the Peavey PV 115 (Definite Lack of high end response). The Yamaha S115V by far produce the best sound which even rivels the Mackie SA 1521Z 15 which I have also used at about 3 times the cost. The S115V cost a bit more than the Yorkville, and Peavey, but are well worth the extra cost if you are into critical and accurate sound for live performance. They are a bit heavy to put on stands by myself, but doable. If you have ever jacked with your EQ in attempt to make your house speakers sound like you think they should, you will love these speakers. (Set your EQ flat, and they sound Great) When you have a quality speaker, EQ becomes less important. These speakers give me all the POWER I need plus a great sound.

Great Speakers

I am a DJ and own two of these speakers. I DJ at parties and school dances, and these speakers are more than enough. They are loud, and have a great bass. These are also very sturdy too. I have dropped one of them from chest height, and it still works perfectly. I would definately recommend this for anyone

Great For Mobile DJ's

I've been a DJ for three years strong, and have used various speakers, but these kick!! Even with a crown xls 202d, they give their all!! No need for a sub with an 802 BBE, it fills the room!! Sturdy, reliable, and good for all types of music.

GREAT

We just bought these for my church. We needed something with a little more bass but without the cost you pay for a subwoofer. It's a deaf church and thats how they get with the music; it's the vibrations. These have awesome bass and good mid range highs. Add speakers with good highs and your set to rock the church!

New love for my Yamaha S115's

I've had a pair of these spkr's for years and I finally figured out how to get that extreme bass and warm highs out of them. It was as simple as a CE2000 and a Ultrafex Pro by behringer, knocks these spkr's into next week. I was using a PLX 1604 and I wasn't getting the chest thumping, floor vibrating bass, I'm getting now. Loads of head room to spare UNBELIEVABLE SOUND "YES MON!"
