  • A Bass Worth Hunting For

As reviewed by Tristan Dean on 7/24/2008

I have spent 6 months searching for a quality Bass. After trying out many of the Bass brands out there and educating myself I took a chance on this Bass. I didn't find this Bass in any music stores except on line. I played other Bass instruments to understand the like componets to help make my decision. The Bass met my expectations. It responded with brightness and punch. Fine tuning was rich and the control knobs responded real well adding to quality sounds. While playing the bass I was impressed with the quiet response or lack of squeak as I ran the fretboard. The bass puts out a rich musical sound on each string that is bright, punchy and pleasent to the ear. I couldn't be happier with this Bass. I got my monies worth and then some. The draw back, I wish it came in more colors. Awesome Bass though!

  • The best you can do for the money

As reviewed by Pope Goat on 9/5/2006

I don't play bass much anymore, but this is what I used while I did. It is remarkably versatile, and sounds great in jazz, blues, funk, gospel, rock, metal, and just about anything else you can think of. I was once sitting in for a band's jam session, and their bass player tried out my bass. He has a 500 dollar fender bass of some kind, and was amazed to find that this got considerably better range than it. In short, it's easily THE best bass out there for the price. You won't regret buying it.

It's a pretty cool bass but it could be better. one problem with it is that if you keep it pluged into your amp for an exended period of time the 9-volt battery will burn out. even if the volume is all the way down. that was a problem for me. i thought it was broken. :)
