  • Write enter songs... anywhere.

    While the QY-100 may not seem to be for everyone, if you are a songwriter, I recommend it. You can literally fit this thing in a tissue box. You can write songs anywhere... trains, long car trips, boats, busses. I use this to write songs in between classes at school and I love it. The built in keyboard is easy to get used to. The onboard sounds are good enough that I used them on my last album. I really recommend the QY-100.

  • HMMM???not so sure about this one

    now I must admit that the convinience of writing "phrases" or "parts" of songs would appeal to a lot of singers and writers, it kind of sickens me to think that someone would actually use all those thin factory sounds on an album...I've been in this line of work for close to 15 years now and I have yet to use a stock factory setting on anything..isn't that what music is about ? making things unique..anyway it's good in private, on the go writing but don't make the mistake of recording with it...

  • Very handy and cool product.

    I purchased the Yamaha QY100 for writing songs. I find it very handy because it is small to carry around and store anywhere so whenever I wanna get something done it is right there. I would recommend this to people. They will really enjoy it.
