Great Starter Guitar
This guitar is totally worth buying if you're starting out. It's so much better than a squier.
It has great tone. Unlike a regular squier, this guitar has a humbucker (2 pickups joined together) and 2 single coil pickups. The problem with a squier is that kids will lose interest, because of the sound. They might not like it. With this guitar, it sounds different, and you get the tone you want. If the kid doesn't know if he wants to play or not, then this is a good guitar to get. There's no point to buying a really expensive guitar that the kid's not gonna touch. This is a cheap guitar that really works. Squier's cost a little bit more.

PIck up and play
I bought this guitar for my wife has her first electric guitar. She was able to just pick it up and play it with out adjustment what so ever, ok she tuned but that was it for adjustments. Now she can't put it down, she says playing relaxes her, her playing does the same for me. This is one of those guitars you just pick up and play.

Solid as a rock (n'roll)
My wife, bless her, got me the Yamaha PAC012 as a graduation present in 2003 with the amp and all the extras included and hasn't let me down yet, despite seeing active use every day of the week. The single coil neck pick-up is warm and round, while the bridge humbucker offers some nice scratch. I prefer jazz noodling so I play up the fretboard quite often, straddling the neck and middle pickups. However, should I ever wish to shred, it's nice to know I can. The guitar itself is nice and solid (built in the far east) and rarely needs tuning. No curvature to the neck and a pleasing finish on the body. Only one tone knob, capared to the Fender, but with passive electronics, how many would you need? Let the amp take care of that stuff. Low, easy action campares favorably with the various low-price Les Pauls around, giving the Yamaha a nice, fluid, effortless playing vibe on which to torture the kids and dog.
All in all, I'm thrilled with mine and no longer see any reason to trade up, as once I did. If Prince can still take his entry-level Hohner around the world, I can tickle my Yamaha in my front room. In other, shorter words, it's a cracker!

A Good Biginers Guitar
I got this guitar for chrismas a couple years ago. It is a great guitar for biginners. If you are looking a good quality easy to play inexpensive guitar this is the one to get. With a plastic top and a stratocaster body with the cutout in the back for comfort you will never need a new guitar. I like this guitar a lot.

its ok
This guitar is a good quality guitar for the money. It was my first guitar ana like anyone should be i was stoked to get it. Cause 1 of my favorite guitar players is Dave Murray from Iron Maiden and its just like his except a strange brand.It has good sound just make sure u dont drop it it gets all f'ed up if u do. Good trem, good for a 22 fretter. Has good sound from our Marshall stacks. But we have a serius 80's Ampeg head so the sound in incredible!!! i recomend u get this guitar! great beginner guitar has trouble staying in tune when tuning low.
