We have one of these at my work and it is an great board for almost any use. I plan on getting one for my personal use to record at home. The built in Comp is very easy to use and sounds great. The board is a yamaha so you know it is going to be good quality for the $. The addition of USB makes hooking it up to your pc to record either in a personal studio or live is a plus!
Yamaha is the best audio gear for me, i love the compression from this mixer and its usb future is so perfect for audio recordingsm aside with cubase 5. I bought this mixer 1 year ago and ill keep it for a long long time :) just love how it works and its so easy to use eat
I bought this board after having great 5-year run with a Yamaha EMX5000 and have been absoluately happy with it! It is clean, reliable, super low noise, worth every penny. My only word of advice, is that a good EQ is needed if you want absolutely top performance. I've been using Yamaha products since 1995 and have proven worthy each and every time. Highly recommend this board.
