  • The Best Remote Mixer

As reviewed by John Kramer on 5/20/2010

The Yamaha MG166c is the best remote compact mixer I've used to date. Love the one knob control compression feature on the first six of the 10 mic channels. Unit has twelve faders in all..perfect for just about any remote job whether it be a sporting event or remote club broadcast. Another huge plus is it weighs about 1/2 of most other mixers its size. The Yamaha MG series, along it's smaller and larger brother's, are unique in that each fader will function regardless of L/R main output assignment. All aux's and submixes are still operational even if main output is muted. Output sound is warm and crisp.

  • Yamaha Rocks!!!!!!

As reviewed by Jimmy on 6/15/2010

I searched for weeks debating which mixer I was going to buy. Of course every sales person wanted me to buy the expensive brand. Also the sales persons said that it didn't have as good as sound as the more expensive brand. Well they were wrong I connected my Yamaha mixer and the brand M and the Yamaha sounded just as good if not better. I was looking at all the specs and no one came close at this price point. You'll be happy with this mixer.
