Blemished items are customer returns, open box, ding n dents and re-stocked items. These items are in great condition and very similar to new, except for packaging that may show wear or may not be original. Not covered by manufacturer warranty, but covered by our 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee.
Perfect for any application that requires a nonlatching momentary switch - use it as a keyboard sustain pedal or as a punch-in switch for hard disk recorders and more. 5' cable gives you plenty of room to move.
This whole foot switch is based on a design that relies on a single piece of thin plastic that is intentionally bent by the pressure of your foot. If that plastic arm breaks, the footpedal makes for a good paper weight as the plastic arm breaks in a place that cannot be repaired. My pedal lasted 4 gigs before it broke. This pedal is a piece of junk. Do not buy!

This is the same pedal that comes with the Yamaha digital pianos (the "P" series). I've owned two of these pedals since 2003 (one that came with my P60 digital piano, and one I bought separate). Both of them work perfectly, five years later. I take care of the items in my studio and I don't stomp on this like the other reviewer seems to have. The pedal isn't entirely plastic. It has a metal base and usually stays put better than the "real" sustain pedals. This works just fine. The price can't be beat, either.
