I am a Solo Acoustic Guitarist who also plays Electric Guitar with a Bassist and Drummer. The DXS12 sub is a nice, compact sub for what I need. I use only one DXS12 and it sounds great with my two DXR8's. The DXR8's sound good alone but when I turn the volume up on the Sub it really blends the low end and fill's the room. I was a little hesitant of buying it cause of the size and weight I would have liked if it were a little smaller and liter, but I don't think it would have the same effect on the low's if it were so. This little sub is as solid as a truck. Although I may not be using it every time I think it is a worth while investment and addition for what I need. Also I got a good deal through Guitar Center with the 3 year insurance coverage Aloha...
