This cymbal stand is the most durable stand I have seen and used. It holds right now a 16in china and the boom is totaly extended, and its like it's cemented to the ground. This is worth the extra money because it will last you forever. I own 2 other yamaha stands and I have had them for 6 yrs and they are still like new. You are able to put alot of accessories on these stands and they're still cemented to the ground! This is an awsome product and a good investment.

Rock Solid. I don't really know what else to say. Right now, this stand has an 18 inch crash on it with a Gibraltar grabber arm holding a 12 inch china. I hit pretty hard, and this stand has not budged an inch. Hasn't even wiggled!
