Ordered a Takamine online recently and just wasn't too happy with it. It just was not set up properly from the factory. Build quality was sub-par. Went to Guitar Center and the guy recommended I pick this little Yamaha up. Never even considered one of these things. I instantly loved it. Action was perfect, neck super comfortable, just all around awesome. Build quality is amazing too, which is unusual for a Yamaha. And comes with a hardshell case? Can't beat it. Awesome deal.
I spent about 4 hours debating on which guitar to purchase. I almost went home without one, but I really wanted to buy a guitar so I ended up with this one, mainly because it sounded pretty good and came with a hard shell case. It is a beautiful guitar and does sound well, but as far as playability, it's not the best. You can't really get the action low without problems. Mine came with the low E string a about 4mm and the high at around 3. This guitar only plays good with little neck relief. That's why you can't get the action low. The fretboard radius is pretty flat, so that's one reason I don't like it. This review is based on my opinion, so I would advise you to try it out for yourself.
