Overview

This Wuhan cymbal set comes with a 16" crash, a 20" ride, a pair of 14' hi-hats, and a cymbal bag with the Wuhan logo.

16" crash cymbal
The small size and medium-thin weight of this Wuhan 16" crash provide an excellent balance of quick, explosive response and rapid decay. This balance of characteristics makes them perfect for adding crisp accents to musical passages.

20" medium ride cymbal
Many drummers consider a 20" medium ride to be the all-purpose size and weight. This Wuhan 20" ride adds a full-bodied musical character and clean, clear stick response to the mix. It's ready to lay down the rhythm in any musical application.

14" hi-hat cymbal pair
This 14" Wuhan hi-hat cymbal pair features a medium-thin top cymbal for quick, expressive stick response, paired with a medium bottom hat that provides definition and projection for the closed-cymbal sound. It's a great sonic combination.

Are these the best cymbals money can buy? No.
Are they the best cymbals so little money can buy? Absolutely.

Wuhan cymbals don't presume to challenge the sound quality, variety, or reputations of the fine professional-level cymbals on today's market. But when it comes to being affordable, that's another story.

Generally, "affordable" cymbals are made of less-expensive sheet alloys, using shortcut manufacturing methods and finishing steps in order to keep the cost down. With the resulting cymbals, you pretty much get what you pay for.

Every cymbal in this Wuhan cymbal pack are made of high-quality, cast B20 alloy. Handcrafted in China according to two-thousand-year-old traditional methods, they're buffed to a brilliant finish, and stamped with an unobtrusive but attractive logo.

Features Cymbal Pack includes:
  • 16" medium-thin crash
  • 20" medium ride
  • 14" hi-hat pair

Not bad at all!!!

By David

from Austin, Tx

I was skeptical - surprisingly enough, the quality of the cymbals is great! They are 'traditional', medium; regular, not specialty cymbals or intended for rock specifically, they are especially great for jazz due to the fact that they are a little thin (they sound slightly dark). I do not care for the way the ride sounds, it does not have a defined ride sound or a 'ping' to it, but it makes a good crash/ride. The crash and hi hats are amazing! For b20 cast bronze cymbals, the value is unbeatable- they remind me of some zildjian K's i used to have. These are great replacement cymbals!!!
