Great playing feel

By Frank Kubin

from Manhattan, NY

Comments about Williams Encore Digital Piano:

Been using this for a few years now. Very responsive feel for the price. Decent set of sounds and functions. Built in midi-record is note limited so mainly usable for short section practice. It's heavy, so it's not something you'd want to move around often. Get a solid stand. I also bought an equivalent (but more expensive) Yamaha for its much lighter portability but it's not nearly as nice to play.

Keystation pro88 in sheeps clothing?

By Rick

from Milwaukee, WI

Comments about Williams Encore Digital Piano:

This is an extremely enjoyable keyboard, and from what I can tell, it uses the same fingerboard as an M-Audio Keystation Pro88. Nearly every detail of the casing and key shape/design/action is the same as my keystation. For me, this is a good thing as I love the keystationPro. I picked this up because I wanted a piano that I wouldn't have to turn a computer on to listen to while playing, and in this manner it works exceptionally. Good keyboard, good feel, screaming price while it was on sale, and thus far, a fun keyboard to play.

Extremely Durable

By Fully Satisfied Customer

from Miami, FL

Comments about Williams Encore Digital Piano:

I purchased this piano for my son over 1 year ago. Despite being played vigorously several hours a day, it continues to operate without any problems or complaints. If seeking an electronic piano for the beginner or intermediate player, no better product on the market for the price.

Very great.

By Classic Kid

from Kalamazoo Michigan

Comments about Williams Encore Digital Piano:

Overall I really like this keyboard it has 30 sounds including Grand piano,Electric Piano,Harpschord,Vibraphone,Pipe Organ,Jazz Organ,Strings,Choir,Guitar and Bass. It has 3 recording tracks. It is around 50 pounds and it is very long. Any stand is useful. I use an X stand. I also like the expression pedal it comes with and a mic imput to sing into. I highley recomend it for beginners. It's price is reasonable for a musician looking for a cheap but satisfying keyboard.

Excellent Action and Feel

By Jeff

from Dresher, PA

Comments about Williams Encore Digital Piano:

This keyboard has some of the best action and feel of almost any other model out there, regardless of price. It plays very well and I can't think of another electric piano for this price that feels so lifelike. It also sounds fine, the grand piano setting is good sounding and the few other sounds are fine(although not completely lifelike). I would recommend this to anyone who wants a lifelike piano for a very reasonable price without all the bells and whistles: this is an electric piano that is made to be used in grand piano mode. It is pretty heavy, so using it for gigs and such is possible but a little bit of a pain. Great instrument for a great price.

Amazing bang for your buck

By Rockin' Hejabi

from Northern Kentucky area

Comments about Williams Encore Digital Piano:

Unbelievably realistic acoustic piano sound and feel. I am amazed by this deal! It is very responsive to touch (press hard=louder, press lightly=soft)and has a deep grand piano sound. Beats the socks off many models that are twice it's price.

Real piano feel for a real deal.

By Over the Influence

from Northern California

Comments about Williams Encore Digital Piano:

Just bought one these Williams Encore keyboards at GC. I was skeptical at first, on getting anything of quality for such a low price. But after reading other reviews on this page, I took a chance. No regrets. Nice feel, pretty good tone, and a perfect tool for the new piano student. Check it out. For the price, you are actually getting a very nice instrument. Go for it!

We Must Praise

By Jazz P.

from Bronx, NY

Comments about Williams Encore Digital Piano:

To date I have owned eight different digital pianos and also to date this is the only one that expresses a true piano touch unless you plan to spend 5 grand or better. This may not have enough sounds for the struggling producer types but, you will not find another keyboard with that true piano touch and sound at this price and up to $4,500. For the true musician, and not just the fly-by-nights, trust me you will love it.
