A brand new fully tweakable delay designed by Jeorge Tripps that combines the Aqua Puss and the Echo Puss to make the ultimate delay.

The Way Huge Supa-Puss Analog Delay was designed by delay master Jeorge Tripps for exploring the farthest reaches of true analog delay potential, featuring an eternity of delay time and fine control over numerous parameters of your delay signal.

Tripps equipped the Supa-Puss with a total of six bucket-brigade chips, delivering up to 900 milliseconds of delay time. With the Tap Tempo switch, you can program in real time up to three full seconds of delay time for ethereal ambience. The Subdivision control allows you to set how your repeats are subdivided, and by switching to the unique Chase mode, you can set your repeats to cycle through each of the Subdivision values in different ways for maximum freak-out effects.

In addition to standard Delay and Feedback controls, Tripps included several controls for fine-tuning the sound of your repeats: Tone for shaping color, Gain for adding grit, and Speed and Depth controls for adding shimmering, liquid textures with the Supa-Puss' LFO modulation circuit. For even further tweakability, Tripps added a true Mix control so you can set your desired blend of wet and dry signals.

Finally, the Supa-Puss has an expression pedal jack so you hook up an expression pedal for continuous, real-time control over the Supa-Puss' delay time.

Way Huge Electronics Supa Puss Delay Pedal Features:

  • 900 milliseconds of delay time via knob control; 3 seconds of delay time via Tap Tempo
    Subdivision control with Chase mode
Tone, Speed, Gain & Depth controls

  • awesome analog delay with modulation, gain and tone on your repeats

As reviewed by Jack Staunton on 8/12/2013

this pedal is very musical and delivers very high quality sound. your dry signal is true and the wet signal sounds great too. highly recommended. have not compared to the competition in person (bought based on youtube videos). pedal was bought from guitar center in july and it is the later revision after the volume drop issue was fixed. for some a carbon copy might suffice but this pedal will do dark or bright, clean or gritty, straight or wobbly. for me, having that flexibility makes it a pedal i will never need to upgrade and so it is worth the extra money.

I own an MXR Carbon Copy and just absolutely love it. I bought this with anticipation of having good analog tone but with tap tempo, subdivisions and delay trails. I didn't care for the cycling through the subdivisions. There is no real use other than goofing around. When engaging the delay there was a slight increase in the volume and the only way to get it out was to mix it out. Then you loose some of your delay strength. When bypassing the delay in trails mode, there was a loud pop in my speaker. So I took the pedal back to my local GC and tried another Supa Puss at the store on a different amp, guitar and no other pedals. I still had the same issue. I was really disappointed and just got a full refund. I loved the tone, subdivisions and could probably deal with the slight increase in volume, but the popping issue was a deal breaker for me. I contacted Dunlop and they said they haven't had that happen with any tested pedals. The pops and volume was within their allowable threshold of failure and for me must have been an isolated incident. It must have been since I haven't seen any other reviews like mine. I'm still waiting for my local GC to get another one so I can try one more time.

well, honestly, it took about 3-4 revisions total since this was released for way huge to get everything just right, but they did it. the delays fade out evenly, i BELIEVE they switched to a crystal oscillator instead of a resistor/capacitor network, because the tap tempo doesnt go out of sync over time. way huge really makes some excellent stuff, and this is no exception. keep your eyes peeled for some more gems from jeorge tripps in the near future! this is a definite buy. analog delay with tap tempo, modulation, and gain adjustments? YES PLEASE!
