Comments about Washburn WMJ 20SCE Mini Jumbo Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
Craftsmanship is excellent. Inspecting the exterior of the guitar I could not find a defect. Looking inside the body with a mirror and a flash light I only saw one brace with a little bit of excessive gluing, but nothing that would be a negative. Overall looks are beautiful. Playability is excellent. I played chords, scales, and some riffs up and down the neck and there was no buzzing anywhere. The action set from the factory is excellent; set very low. Checking at the 12th fret with a capo on the 1st fret; Bass = 5/64 and Treble = 3/64. Neck is excellent, straight and comfortable. I checked for relief, but there was none. Sound is excellent. Unplugged it has excellent all around sound both in the low and high range; something that is often wanting from a guitar this size and at this price. I only have a practice amp, but the guitar sounded very nice no feedback issues. The built in tuner works well and is easy to read. Overall in my opinion for the price this is an excellent guitar for the beginner or experienced player.
