Great midrange guitar

By pidgeyhome

from Plainsboro, NJ

This guitar is pretty cool. It has some more features than your standard midrange guitar. It has a coil tap function, so you can get single coil sounds with humbuckers. There is also the buzz feiten tuning system. I don't exactly know how it works, but it keeps the guitar's intonation perfect. The sound is clear and vibrant, good pickups and a very comfortable neck. Jumbo frets make bending a snap. Only thing is, it's heavy, but then again, most solidbody electric guitars are. The paint and finish are top notch, and look great. Overall this guitar is perfect for the novice player on a budget, the price for this guitar I would have expected to be more around $800 but its a lot cheaper. As a whole Washburn has a very good reputation, and I'd recommend you at least look into this guitar.
