I am extremely pleased with my new Washburn B 16 banjo. I've played a banjo that cost much more but it didn't sound or look any better than my Washburn. The tone is beautiful, loud, and clear. My opinion is that it sounds professional and the looks are top notch. The inlays in the fret board and even the tuners are very pretty. It plays as well as it looks and sounds. I think it's an excellent buy for the price. The folks at Guitar Center were very nice and eager to help.
I have had my washburn B-16 for five years now and the sound quality has never changed...AWESOME!! ive had a Deering and an Iada in the past and they dont compare to the quality sound...the tuners always stay tight and the only time i have to retune is when we play outside and the humidity is so high...but overall the band has said the sound this instrument makes is by far the best investment i could have made.
Beautiful banjo with great sound. Washburn makes a great product and Guitar Center has it at a great price!
