I have a Vintage Washburn Banjo which sounds great BUT..... I had an issue where I wanted to replace the neck due to damage sustained putting D-tuners on it. Well Washburn informed me they could NOT replace a neck even though I wanted to purchase it. Their so called lifetime Warranty is also a load of garbage. If it breaks by being faulty or damaged by you, you can forget it. They will not replace it or can't. I was told that their company that made my banjo was closed years ago and there was no way of getting a neck again I was wanting to purchase it when asked what if it had been under warranty I recieved no further response so their customer service is HORRIBLE. I love my new Washburn, Plays as beautiful as it looks.I am totally satisfied with my investment.I would recommend this product to anyone interested in playing a fine instrument.
