The Washburn B16 Banjo has an intricate pearl-inlaid rosewood fingerboard and peghead to adorn a bound 5-piece maple neck with double adjustable tension rods. A flat tone ring lines the 14-ply hardwood rim and complements the bookmatched flamed maple banjo resonator. The banjo comes with three 'capo spikes' on the 7th, 9th and 10th frets on the 5th string so you can capo the other four strings to play in higher keys without retuning.

I have had my washburn B-16 for five years now and the sound quality has never changed...AWESOME!! ive had a Deering and an Iada in the past and they dont compare to the quality sound...the tuners always stay tight and the only time i have to retune is when we play outside and the humidity is so high...but overall the band has said the sound this instrument makes is by far the best investment i could have made.
Beautiful banjo with great sound. Washburn makes a great product and Guitar Center has it at a great price!
