I'm a music director, band coach, teacher, and gigging musician. When I received this bass I threw it immediately into action. In one week I used it in a Gospel choir, classic rock band, Elvis tribute, British Invasion show, and who knows what else. Since, I've set it up and have it ready for another week of who knows what. Great bass!
A lot of bang for the buck. I didn't expect a lot nor demand too much considering the price I paid. I was looking for a simple bass to gig and teach with.
It did need a setup out of the box. But after adjusting the neck and bridge, it played just the way I like it.
It a lightweight instrument that looks good, the neck feels good, and, most importantly, has great tone. After one solid week of sessions, probably 20+ hours of playing time, this bass went from backup to main axe.

Have owned three Warwicks and every single one of them has had neck issues straight from the factory. Everything from twisting, bumps, uneven fretboards and frets pulling out of the wood. After the first one I thought maybe it was a fluke. Second one had me concerned and the last one turned me off to the company completely. It takes 3 months to get a replacement neck and that's after you send the original neck back to them. Customer service is non-existent. They may return your email in a week if at all. Steer clear of this company.

One bass to rule them all!

Comments about Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic Active Electric Bass:

I'm not a bassist, but I've been a musician for 35 years and I know quality when I see and hear it. This is an awesome bass from one of the best bass manufacturers in the world. I do a lot of recording and production and I wanted something that I'd be happy with for life. Two of my bandmates have had them over the years and I think they have the best sound and quality for the price. Nice action on the neck, warm heavy sound but you can definitely up the treble if that's your thing, comes with master, balance, treble and bass adjustment knobs. Really comfortable to play with your fingers whether your sitting or using a strap, I just rest my thumb on the cutaway and it's in a perfect position. And on top of all that, it looks pretty sick!

Comments about Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic Active Electric Bass:

After doing a ton of research, I made the Rockbass Corvette my first bass purchase about 4 yrs ago. Love this bass. Especially for the price. At the time, I couldn't really appreciate the quality of this instrument, but now that I've been playing for a while and have had a chance to play around with multiple instruments, I have to say, this bass is wonderful. You can get plenty of great tones from it and it always maintains a beefy, meaty sound. It's lightweight. It's sexy. And can take some abuse.
I always found it a little difficult to play near the bridge pickup (it's so tight down there, it's been hard to get a good sound), but I'm actually having mine adjusted professionally right now, so hopefully, when I get it back, things will be a little better. Either way, if you're on the fence about getting this bass, I'd suggest getting one. Definitely worth the money, in my humble opinion.

Amazing. Got this bass used and just had to slap new strings on and it sounds AMAZING! Feels awesome, plays awesome, is awesome. If you can get it used then that's a lot better since I picked it up for 200 Washingtons. Definitely worth it.

Comments about Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic Active Electric Bass:

I f you are looking for a bass to buy, This is it, this bass is versatile as can be, the range is amazing, the pickups sound amazing, it isn't that heavy, I have no neckdive, the neck is smooth as glass, the Strings it comes with are easy to play, For me as soon as it arrived at my house, you pick it up, and it felt as if i had played it for years already. it feels sturdy, and tough, VERY WELL BUILT like all other Warwicks, the adjustable bridge comes in handy, it is very easy to adjust and already comes with the tools needed, You are able to adjust the string spacing, in my opinion is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, the Angled tuners make for easy tuning adjustments. The Looks are just gorgeous, pictures do it NO JUSTICE, it looks outstanding in person...this bass knowing the sound and quality and feel of it. I would gladly pay over $1000 for it, but thankfully you buyers only need to spend a fraction of that.

Comments about Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic Active Electric Bass:

I own two German Warwicks and this feels pretty close. I actualy like the maple neck better because it makes the bass a lot lighter. I have owned this bass for a couple of weeks and have had no problems. It just feels and sounds good. The older Rock basses did have some problems, but Warwick seems to have addressed those issues. I would definitely buy another.

Comments about Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic Active Electric Bass:

I just recently ordered this bass online. I had to do a little bit of string height and intonation adjustments but the neck was perfectly set. The Just A Nut is an awesome feature to dial your bass in JUST how you like it. Right now im playing this bass through a blown out guitar amp with a monster bass cable and it sounds flawless! I highly recommend this bass to anyone looking for a more than great value!

Got mine in nirvana black It was a demo model picked it up for 350$ looks gorgeous. It sounds and feel's great in my hands.I'm loving every minute of playing I don't want to put her down. Quality is great across the board I'm very pleased with my purchase. This bass has great low's and highs and I can get a lot of different tone variations out of it.. Glad I did not spend a bunch of money on a german model. Don't let warwick "purists"/snobs shame you into spending more money then you need to These are great bass guitar's.

      Jaw dropping

      By Fuller

      from Ohio

Comments about Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic Active Electric Bass:

I picked up this bass about 18 months ago and it was the best decision I have ever made. Playing in metal it's hard to get a "cut through" tone out of bass, that's unique and can compliment down tuned guitars (drop C) without being muddy. I have owned several ESP basses and a few Ibanez basses. Nothing seemed to equal the playability of this bass. From extreme slap and pop to blistering notation this bass does it all. It's extremely light and can easily be thrown around while performing an intense stage show. I use this bass through a PD7 Phat-Head overdrive pedal and a Sans-Amp DI box and that's all I need to have a great meaty tone or an over the top solo tone. If you're looking for a "standout" tone that can be easily manipulated this is the bass for you and it wont break the bank!
