I bought this bass for my 7-year-old son for his birthday. He loved it! It is great for beginners and it is a steal for the price. The price is so amazing that I'd buy another one if my son broke it.
This bass guitar is both a scalpel and a baseball bat merged into one! That's the best way to describe it's tone. The 18volt preamp allows a very full spectrum of tonal choices. The highs are slap-happy, brighter than any I've ever heard. The mids have a thick growl, accredited to its exotic woods. The lows, well, your not going to find Angus beef here, due to the semi-hollow body, but thanks to the unique MEC P/UP configuration and Active electronics, they still cut through FAT, RICH & CLEAN. The sustain rings for days, thanks to its Neck-through construction. This instrument is stunningly beautiful. It's satin finish leaves one in awe. It's definitely the nicest production bass Warwick makes. I'm so in love with this bass, though I've only played through it once. I wish I would have had the money to purchase when the opportunity presented itself.
