Comments about Warwick German Thumb Bolt-On Electric Bass:

This is a gorgeous instrument with a great sound, versatile tones (active and passive) and outstanding craftsmanship. I was not able to do a side-by-side comparison with the NT version, but I'm happy with what I got (at significantly lower price than the NT).

The bass is very heavy, and the flight case it came in is a sight to behold, but is also heavy in its own right! The combination of bass and case are almost unliftable!

Comments about Warwick German Thumb Bolt-On Electric Bass:

I've only had this bass a few days (and own other high end basses) but this is the finest bass instrument I've played in terms of feel, playability, sound and quality of construction. Even the User Kit is a joy to see and the metal flight case is gorgeous, though extremely heavy!

I read a lot (a whole lot!) of rewiews before investing in this instrument, and was concerned about neck dive, but am pleased to say that is a non-issue—the bass is perfectly balanced. She's going to get a lot of use in the next few months and I'm looking forward to bonding with her!
