  • Must Have

As reviewed by BassAce on 2/23/2010

Absolutely love it. Saw it in the store tried it out and had to have it, no ifs, ands or buts. Didn't have the cash so I traded (2) other basses in for it and a little extra cash. No regrets, it's only been 3-days and I couldn't even tell what I traded in anymore (kidding). My wife is jealous, I can't keep my hands off this bass, she feels lonely. The tone and sustain is incredible, it has completely changed the way that I approach my playing. I've been playing off and on for 30 years and have never played an instrument that inspires you to play the way this does. I've read lots about Warwicks and how great they are and until you play one you don't fully "get it". I don't think I'd ever think about getting anything else. Got my eye on a 5-string Corvette $$.

  • Best Bass Ever!

As reviewed by Dana on 4/14/2010

I have been playing 42 years, and this is hands down the best bass I have ever owned. I have had Precisions, Rickenbackers, Ibanez, and others, but this bass is as close to perfect as you can get. I bought mine 10 years ago, and it plays as good now as when new. Sustain is incredible, MEC pickups can't be beat. Only problem I have ever had is the pre-amp burned out, and is very expensive to replace. I lucked out by finding one on Ebay for about 1/4 the cost of a new one. Another excellent point of this bass....once it is tuned, it STAYS tuned. I rarely if ever have to tune during a gig, and I play with both fingers and pick, depending on song, and sometimes play very hard. I still have and use other basses, but this one is my permanent gig rig.

  • Oh neck dive

As reviewed by Bassist on 10/31/2006

Bass is solid, well built. The neck is great and the sound is good, but it is almost useless to play with on a strap. It has horrible neck dive. You have to hold it up. I prefer the Corvette series based on the neck dive.
