Amazing Bass!!

Hands down THE nicest 6 string bass I have ever played on. Coming from somebody who has owned several Warwick basses, this is got to be the nicest 6 string Warwick or any 6 string bass. Plugged into my SWR rig it sounds amazingly awesome with the signature Warwick growl. This bass is perfect for jamming some jazz tunes, as well as any kind of clean funky rhythms that make this bass sing. Awesome funk tones. I actually use an assortment of effect pedals, one of them being bass overdrive, this bass has some kicking overdrive tone to it as well. Tone is in one word AWESOME! Warwick basses come with a deluxe bag as well as a trapper style thing that comes with a truss rod, beeswax to wax it with, and instructional manual on how to care for your new Warwick! If you have the money, don't hesitate buy today!

Incredible Bass

I have owned my "Thumb" now for 9 months. The craftsmanship and construction of the instrument is top notch. Anyone who owns one of these will tell you it is probably one of the most "solid" basses made. Setup and adjustments are easy and have plenty of options for getting the right feel for your own personal preferences or style. Right out the box it is ready to go. I did not adjust the action for 3 months until i got used to the instrument and was able to set it up the way I wanted in no time. Humidity etc does not even seem to affect the bass. This is my second warwick and this seems to go for all of them so you won't have to worry about adjusting the neck every season. This Bass is heavy but if you get a well made leather bass strap (wide with some padding) you will not notice the weight. The action is great and you can play effortlessly for hours at a time. The preamp is not as functional as I would like but I haven't changed it yet and is quite usable. Overall, it's one of the best made instruments out there and well worth the money.

Very nice six string

This bass plays very easily; the action on the one I played was nice and low (just how I like it), and the neck was rather easy to navigate, which surprised me because I have relatively small hands. I really love the wood of this instrument. The pickups were very weak, and I think the people at Guitar Center just hadnt changed the battery. But other than the weak pickups, this was a very nice bass and if you have the money and want to get a six string bass, I'd recommend this one.
