  • Just Beautiful

As reviewed by FunkyStew on 8/24/2011

I got my Jazzman about 5 months ago, and I'm still loving every second with it! There is so much tonal variety with it, it should be illegal! That fat humbucker just kills everything ... if you want it to. The switch for the humbucker does the usual ... parallel, series, or split. If I turn the bass knob a bit, I get that smooth Dave Matthews bass slide sound. If I click the switch, let up on that bass knob, I get that slappy Flea groove, and if I just open everything up, I can make Justin Chancellor proud! My other bass, is a Thumb 6-string, so believe it or not, my Jazzman is a back-up. Compared to my Thumb, the Jazzman is very light on the shoulder. The neck is small, so your going to fly like a shredder if you got the skill, (sadly, I don't.)I play my Warwicks through a GK NEO412 and GK 1001RB-II, and I have yet to get a bad comment on my bass's looks or sound. I found that I even get a nice THICK click sound when using a pick. I fell in love with Warwick on accident really. But now I'll never part with them. This bass feels great, looks great, sounds great ... bottom line, it is GREAT!! I've played Ibanez, Fender, G&L, Music Man .... nothing comes close to my Warwicks.

This bass has great punch and great tone on the highs and lows. It is personally one of my favorite basses of all time.
