This is a two button footswitch that I purchased to use with my AC15C1 Vox amp. It switches on and off the tremolo, and reverb effects. The switch has good heavy duty construction. Housing is metal and the switches look sturdy. The footswitch came with a heavy duty stereo cable to conect with the amp. This switch has lights to show when the effect is on or off. No batteries are needed the power comes from the Vox AC15C1.

Bought this to pair with AC15C. Took it out of the box and one of the switches (Reverb) didn't seem to be working. I could tell just by pressing it in that it wasn't engaging the switch... I didn't have time to deal with it so I threw it back in the box and forgot about it. About a week ago I threw it on my pedal board and plugged it in - with the intent to replace the switch. I stomped on the reverb switch out of frustration and it worked... I still have to stomp on it hard to engage the switch but at the very least it works....... Vox quality let me down on this but the footswitch is nothing fancy. It only needs to be functional.

Comments about Vox VFS2A Guitar Footswitch:

I recently bought a VOX AC30 amp (which I love by the way, see the review) but it did not come with this switch. If you do not already have one you need to get it. Much simpler than adjusting knobs.

Comments about Vox VFS2A Guitar Footswitch:

This is a two button footswitch. One switch for the reverb and the other is for the tremelo. Each switch lights up when it is activated making it visually easy to see what is on or off. Seems well made and it has been trouble free. My only complaint is I believe the footswitch should have been included by Vox with the purchase of the amp.

Comments about Vox VFS2A Guitar Footswitch:

I purchased this footswitch to use with my Vox AC15VR, so that I can switch between my amp?s clean and overdrive channels and turn on and off the reverb effect more easily. Great product, very well constructed and does what it promises.

          Great little Footswitch

Comments about Vox VFS2A Guitar Footswitch:

This is a great little footswitch I bought to use with my Vox Night Train amp. Works perfectly, switching between the amp's two channels as well as adding the "thick" feature to each channel. The lights let me know when it's engaged. Highly recommended for anyone with the Night Train 50 watt head and cabinet.

Comments about Vox VFS2A Guitar Footswitch:

The footswitch that came with my Marshall VS100H amp was giving me trouble (crimped cable), so I started using the regular Vox VFS-2 footswitch from my AD15VT combo amp in its place. It worked fine, but the cable was short and there were no LED indicator lights on it.

I was about to buy a new Marshall footswitch (or pay someone to fix my existing one) when I found out about the VFS-2A. It solves all the problems I had with my other footswitches. First, it has LED indicator lights so I know what channels are active. Second, the cable has its own plug and is not attached to the footswitch, so no more crimping (and I can use any length stereo cable I want with it). Finally, the VFS-2A footswitch is cheaper than the replacement Marshall footswitch.

In short, the VFS-2A is superior to the VFS-2, works great with Vox amps, and may work with your non-Vox amp too, and is also at a decent price.

Comments about Vox VFS2A Guitar Footswitch:

I purchased the VFS2A Footswitch to use with my Vox AC15C1 amp. I bought the amp used, so I do not know if this foot switch is included when you buy it new or not. It's very simple to operate, as it plugs into the back of the amp & has 2 switches on it. The left switch turns the reverb effect on/off. The right switch turns the tremolo effect on/off. In my opinion, this footswitch is necessary if you plan to play the AC15C1 amp out live, as it allows you to turn both effects on/off as needed. The reverb effect with this amp tends to linger (even at a low setting). So if your band does really tight endings, having the ability to click the reverb off helps prevent your guitar from sticking out as the band ends together.
