I purchased this footswitch to use with my Vox AC15VR, so that I can switch between my amp?s clean and overdrive channels and turn on and off the reverb effect more easily. Great product, very well constructed and does what it promises.
This is a great little footswitch I bought to use with my Vox Night Train amp. Works perfectly, switching between the amp's two channels as well as adding the "thick" feature to each channel. The lights let me know when it's engaged. Highly recommended for anyone with the Night Train 50 watt head and cabinet.
This is a very study pedal, and I'm glad to have it for my AC30C2. However, there is one thing missing: a tap tempo button for the Tremolo rate. Although such a feature would cause the price to go up (without question), and may require additional reconfiguration of the amplifier itself, it would be a great feature, no doubt - especially since the "rate" knob on the amp doesn't indicate any bpm or anything like that. Even as is, however, this is a must-have accessory for your AC30 or AC15.
This thing is solid. Good bright lights. Better quality than I thought it would be. The backing is soft rubber so it wont slip around. The only beef I have with it is that the switches are numbered One and Two, I'd rather have it say Reverb and Tremolo, but I think its because this could be used for other amps than my AC15C1. Be sure to use a stereo cable. The quality of the cable doesn't matter, its just a switch, as long as a signal passes through.
This footswitch is really heavy duty and works great to switch your reverb and trem on and off. Another reviewer said that when they used an instrument cable, only the reverb worked. That's because you need to use a 1/4" male to 1/4" male STEREO cable. You can buy one cheaper than an instrument cable. I would recommend doing that because 15 feet isn't long enough in a lot of cases if it's on your board.
If you try using a longer typical instrument cable regardless of how good a quality it is (Dimarzio, Mogami, etc) the 2nd switch won't operate for the AC15C1 anyhow in my experience which is the tremelo. Works as intended but only 4 stars since I'm a bit restrained by the length of the cable if I want to mic my amp and attach the pedal to my pedal board up front.
This is a two button footswitch that I purchased to use with my AC15C1 Vox amp. It switches on and off the tremolo, and reverb effects. The switch has good heavy duty construction. Housing is metal and the switches look sturdy. The footswitch came with a heavy duty stereo cable to conect with the amp. This switch has lights to show when the effect is on or off. No batteries are needed the power comes from the Vox AC15C1.
