Awesome Possum

Comments about Vox Night Train G2 1x12 Guitar Cabinet:

I have a Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 18w head and I am playing an Epiphone Les Paul Traditional PRO with a DiMarzio PAF DP103 Humbucker 36th Anniversary pickup in the Neck and a DiMarzio PAF DP223 Humbucker 36th Anniversary pickup in the Bridge. I've been using my friends 2x12 and when we swapped it out for the Vox, Wow!! It really came alive. Plugged straight in with no effects, it sounds amazing. The only effect I have is a TC Electronics Hall of Fame Reverb pedal going through the effects loop. If you have a smaller wattage head, you can't go wrong. The Celestion G12M Greenback is a nice compliment to the whole rig. Oh, and btw, I also swapped out the tubes in my amp to a: TungSol 12ax7's for the preamp and Mullard EL84's for the power tubes.
