The Vox amplug Acoustic does exactly what the specs and product info say it does...It's small, works on simple triple A batteries and simply provides the user with means of practicing privately. And yes, the sound is a very refined acoustic guitar that sounds great through my BOSE quiet comfort head phones.
For the price, it's pretty much a no-brainer.
Oh...don't forget. You can plug your ipod into the Amplug and hear your favorite backing track along with your "silenced" guitar.
