Product Information

High-quality modeling meets the acclaimed VOX Valve Reactor tube technology in this 100W 2x12.

The Vox Valvetronix VT100 is a 100W combo amp that gives you 22 amp models ranging from the latest high-gain types to hard-to-find boutique and vintage amplifiers. The Vox VT100 also boasts a full complement of effects, allowing it to cover the needs of a wide variety of styles and performance techniques. The Valvetronix amp also includes 66 preset programs, including 22 song programs that simulate the guitar sounds of famous guitarists. Now even beginners can start enjoying serious guitar sound right away.

The Vox Valve Reactor circuit is the key factor that separates the Valvetronix amplifiers from other modeling amps. The 100% analog original power amp circuit actually has the same power amp circuit as a full-tube amp, using a 12AX7 miniature triode to reproduce a distinctive tube amp sound unattainable by digital technology. In other words, it replicates aspects that have an important influence on the sound of a tube amp, such as the power amp's class A/AB operation and the interaction of the power stage with the speaker. You get not only the response of the original amp's power amp circuitry, but also the power amp's distortion as well as the nuances and subjective sound pressure of a full-tube amp.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

NEW REVIEW - Absolutely Amazing Amp!

I have owned many guitar amps over the years including Marshall Stacks (JVM, TSL Series), Vox Ac-30, Fender Twins including two 1972 models and others. The thing that has always been a problem is the twin sounds great for blues/country but has too much mid range for metal/rock. Marshall amps are wonderful for rock but the buck stops there. I found myself hauling a half stack and two twins around in order to accomplish the sound I was looking for. Then, I played the Vox VT amps and fell in love. I purchased two of the 50 watt versions and was unhappy with the low end, so I purchased two of the 100 watt amps. The 100 watt has got balls and truly is like owning all of these great amps, cause I did owe many of them. The amp can produce virtually any sound you want outside of the 22 amps built in. You can arrange the amp any way you like, bypassing all effects and models if needed. Bottom line... Buy the amp,

Great sound. Poor build quality.

I love the way this amp sounds. Most of the amp models are very good. Especially the Vox models. The quality of parts on this amp are however disappointing. I've had problems with cheap input jacks which had to be replaced and the tube socket which cracked due to heat from the tube.

VOX has delivered again

Let me start by saying VOX has delivered again. This amp sounds amazing. You can get any type of sound you’re looking for, from crystal clear clean to hard core crunch. It has 22 of the best amp models I’ve ever heard, it’s like having 22 of the most expensive amps you’ve ever dreamed of, right at your finger tips. It also has 22 song presets form guitar greats. You can adjust the sound of any of the presets and when you’ve found that perfect sound, write it to a user defined preset with the press of a button. I’ve had this amp for almost a year now and have had no problems, the quality of the amp is outstanding, no problems with the input jack or the tube socket, the input jack on the amp is better than the one on my Marshall. This amp is the best of worlds, “real tube” sound as well as all the digital effects I’ll ever need. The wattage control knob was a great idea you can adjust it from 15 watts, all the way to 100 watts, and at the 15 watt level you don’t lose any of the overdrive of crunch. I’ve never been able to turn it up more than about half way without blowing the windows out of my house this thing is “loud”. I’m playing a Gibson Les Paul Standard though it and it sounds so sweet. I do recommend the optional 5 way foot switch, it’s a must, and I know it would be nice if it were included, but if it was they would just raise the price, and by the way the foot switch is really high quality and has a long cord. I’ve been playing guitar for 37 years, and this amp is by far the best bang for the buck, buy it, you won’t regret it.
