One Awesome little guitar Amp Head, and the cabinet fits it perfectly. It's unbelievably loud and still holds its VOX jingle jangle. Super Portable and is very versatile, you can go from the sweetest cleans to some rock n' roll crunch. I Give this little guy a 5 out of 5 for its small size and its incredible power. i recommend this to guitarists that are looking for a clean amplifier that has the choice of going into a classic crunch. p.s. ... you gotta try this at guitar center or get one !
I have gone through a lot of amps and like many different things about different ones. I did though, finally, come to the conclusion that I prefer low watt guitar amps. When I play in large venues I always mic it anyway so why have an amp that is so loud that I cant even use it in smaller venues like church? This one sounds awesome! Warm overdrive and really bell-clear clean tones. You can get a ton of tonal variety out of this thing between the e.q. with Mids, volume and gain, bright/thick and the 15/7.5 watt switches. I can get this thing to sound sweet without cranking the volume and blowing out my windows - something I couldnt do with my AC30. It has a lot of headroom though as well...it gets really really loud if I want it to. You can buy a different cab if you want 2/12 or 4/12 and the head looks freaking awesome. The only draw back I have seen so far is that this cabinet doesnt have as resonant low-end as my AC30. The lows are really clear and sound nice but this cab - as awesome as it does sound - just does lack a little on the low end. If you are playing with a drummer and bass you wouldnt ever know though. Great amp! I dont miss my AC30 at all.
I've had this amp for a few months and think its great. Very versatile. Get that perfect "chimey" clean sound with a Fender Strat and then rip it up in Thick Mode with a Gibson SG. And it can do everything in between. Put some pedals in front to perfect your sound.
