Vintage and modern tones with flexible control!

With dual channels-each with its own gain and volume controls-and growling tube tone, the Vox Bulldog Distortion pedal adds extra bite to your fret-burning maneuvers. Gain 1 dishes out vintage distortion while Gain 2 packs a more modern, aggressive sound with slightly scooped mids. Both are adjustable from subtle to completely over the top. A Bass control adds extra low end thump at extreme settings and a warm, round mellowness at lower settings. And with the Gain 2 voice control you can independently tailor the second channel's hell-raising tone. A Treble control will take your sound from a biting attack at one extreme to smooth and liquid at the other. The Bulldog also is equipped with true bypass.

Vox Cooltron CT01DS Bulldog Distortion Pedal Factory B-Stock Features:

  • 2 channels-each with its own gain and volume
  • Voice control on channel 2

MOST POWERFULL PEDAL ON THE FLOOR!

I am a profesional guitar player (I get paid for it). This is the first pedal I have bought in years. I normanly I use a Marshall JCM 900 or my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe for my distortions. I've always prefered real amp tone. Until now! The Bull Dog is an amazing tube pedal. With dual gain stages it goes from gritty to over the top distortion in one click. I wanted something other than my current amps tone and this is perfect. It can go lighter than the Fender and more metal than the Marshall. The "voice" control is a thing of beauty! This takes your heavy tone and sweeps it across every genre of hard rock tone. I would highly recomend it to any serious player. Although, It does go though batteries rather quickly (about every 3 to 5 gigs). Try it out. You'll likely buy it!

Bulldog is the Man!

When it comes to distortion/overdrive I am very picky. As a guitar player you are defined by your tone! I play a 50 watts all tube Ampeg Reverborocket...unmatched distortion/overdrive in my opinion. Bulldog comes almost 100% to ampeg. I am very happy and thrilled!
