Comments about VocoPro DVG-555K 5-Disc DVD/CDG/VCD/MP3/MP4/Photo-CD Karaoke Changer:
My wife and I run our own professional DJ/Karaoke business. We bought this player to replace an old player. I really wish I knew all the hang ups that it had, because I probably would not have purchased it. The good: the sound quality is nice. I do like having the 5 dick trays too, and to switch out 4 while it is playing. The bad: When playing a regular CD, you can not play just one song (single mode). The player will want to play the whole CD. That means you have to monitor it, and stop it manually. Also, when playing karaoke, one disk will be playing and you eject the others to put in more disk. When you put the disks back in the player it will put up on the screen what disk player tray is playing, sometimes, right over top of the karaoke words, and it will stay there for the entire song. It puts this in the upper left corner of the screen, so it all depends on where the karaoke words are located, on whether or not they are covered. There is no button to remove this, unless you have the remote and push an option that you are not really suppose to push (ex. setup). We have also experienced when you put the extra trays back, when a karaoke CD is playing, it causes the karaoke CD to skip. I would not recommend this product for professional use. Our old 3 disk player was a better buy back in it's day.
