Nice .... but....

By DAVSEL

Comments about VocoPro The Duet II Karaoke System:

It's a nice system if all you want is to play or sing from CD's. If your music is on an iPod, this is not the system for you. As for the duel cassette....no one uses this technology anymore. In my opinion, this is not worth the money. Goldwave your songs and burn them on CD's.

We like it!

Comments about VocoPro The Duet II Karaoke System:

The cassette recorder allows us to listen to our mistakes and set a mic level that mixes nicely. I record my own guitar track and we sing over that track while playing accompanyment all at the same time. My grandaughter thinks we're GREAT!

Decent Starter For Home Use

By Bee Anthony

from South Suburb Chi-Town

Comments about VocoPro The Duet II Karaoke System:

This system was my third home system after having graphic problems with the first two. It appeared to be flimsier than my other units, but it performed decently. I recommend hooking up the Duet II with one's home stereo system for improved sound. The price for this system is consistent and has not dropped in 6 years, so apparently VocoPro has confidence in this product. I sold my system earlier this year to a friend at a greatly reduced price and I played the system without and with enhanced sound and she did not hesitate to buy it. The padded carrying case was also a smart buy, but not needed because the unit is not heavy.(I did not use the cassette player nor equalizer.)

Best Value

By F.Lee

Comments about VocoPro The Duet II Karaoke System:

I don't want to count how many karaoke machines my wife has gone through -- let's just say more than one hand's worth. So I was somewhat skeptical about this purchase. Albeit still new and out of the box, it "feels" more like a professional unit than the Barbie specials. Mix, balance very smooth. Output VG although at high volume, sound will clip. (Who wants to run 80W max anything? Just connect outboard). Audio wise, very good.
