Product Information

LEDs indicate pedal position at a glance.

With the die-cast aluminum Visual Volume, the rocker position is indicated by a column of ten LED's. With the rocker fully back (toe up, heel down) all of the lights are off and so is the volume. As you rock your foot forward, the indicators light up one by one until all 10 are lit. When all lights are on, you're at maximum volume. To find your level at a glance, LEDs 1-4 are blue, 5 is red, 6-9 are blue again, and 10 is red.

Visual Volume recommends using a high-quality regulated 9VDC adapter like the 1 Spot. Boss PSA, Dunlop ECB-03, Ibanez AC-109, and Morley 9V also acceptable. The Visual Volume pedal is easy to service. If you ever wear out the control pot, Visual Volume has a kit to restore your pedal to like new service. Many users are even able to make the switch themselves.

The Visual Volume Pedal operates on 9V battery or an optional power supply. It will function passively without power though the LEDs will be inoperative.

Inputs and Outputs
Input 1 and Output 1 are all you need for mono volume control.
Tuner Out: Even with the volume all the way down, the tuner out still sends volume to your tuner, allowing you to tune silently without switching any cables around.
If you don't plug into Input 2, both Outputs send the signal from Input 1, so you can plug into 2 different amps at the same time.
Plug into inputs 1 & 2, and the Visual Volume becomes a stereo volume pedal. Great if you put a Stereo Chorus pedal in front of the Visual Volume.
Or, plug 2 guitars into the Visual Volume and you can make quick guitar changes without unplugging.

Other adjustments
With the removal of the bottom plate on your pedal you can set the pedal for active or passive mode, adjust pedal tension, and in active mode, individually set the gain for each input.

Visual Sound Pedal

Just what I've needed. I can't tell you how many times I had to make last second adjustments because I didn't know what the volume setting was on my other volume pedal before playing a solo. With the Visual Sound Pedal I can just take a glance and I know what the setting and do my thing. It was easy to set up right from the box. The bonus I discovered is the extra input so I can have my acoustic already plugged in and ready to go...Nice!!! Only one thing I'd like have is the option to adjust the tension for pedal pressure. Other than that it's good to go...

Visual Volume Pedal a MUST!!

This is by far the best and most useful pedal in my arsenal. It is always nice to have a volume pedal but knowing the level you at is a must because you have consistancy and I find that very important on stage. Also there are two input/outputs each with customizable gain levels that you modify yourself in the pedal, which is incredibly useful if you use multiple guitars. The ONLY setback is that the LED lights take up alot of power so if you don't have an external power source (i.e. 1-Spot) it'll drain your batteries fast. Visual Sound does great pedals and this another masterpiece. Without a doubt 5 stars, I love this pedal!

Great concept, but not so great pedal

this pedal really works great, the led lights on the side is really an awesome concept, i just had to buy this thing. its just not a great quality pedal in my opinion. the thing moving the volume pedal is just a plastic little rod, its not very smooth to use, and doesnt really seem like its going to last long. also, the pedal has to be active for the lights to work so it adds to unwanted noise. but on a positive note, you can go on the inside of the pedal and switch from active and passive mode and do your own tweeking to your volume swell preference
