Don't have much to say about this pedal. It seems to be built well, it's a good idea, but it is a NOISY pedal. Even my noise suppressor pedal couldn't contend with it. Ridiculous. That killed it for me. The sound was OK but the noise just wrecked it. I returned it.
I have this pedal for about 2 years, using it with an Epiphone Sheraton 2, a Laney TFX3 amplifier and a Dunlop Wha-wha Cry Baby. The combination of the these is perfect. I play on studio and on stage an it never let me down. Always good combinations of overdrive: two channels on the amp and two of the greatest overdrives I ever heard on a guitar pedal. The VS Double Trouble has a wide variations of tones, it goes from a smoothy blues sound to a killing punk experience, passing through hard rock's crunches and classic rock's fuzzies. The best is that the two overdrives are very different from each other. One is a classic tone and the other is close, very close to a very good fuzz. I feel complete with these and, recently, added the classic Boss Distortion, so I can nearly fly playing guitar. I feel bad about the people that think this pedal is noisy! Does they know what is a overdrive pedal? If you want clean channels all the way, get a distortion pedal and apply to it very low levels. I'm satisfied with this "noise". I had lots of other overdrive pedals, but this is the definitive one.
