If you want the greatest stick bag in the world this one would be it. Very pleased with this bag it is very big in size i can put a lot of sticks in there, and a lot of zipper compartments to put my accessories in. I love the shoulder straps it makes my traveling and setting up for gigs much easier. Its also stylish love the soft leather when you put it on your back most people cant even tell its a stick bag until they see the Vic Firth logo love this bag i recommend this bag to all drummers thanks to Vic firth for an awesome bag
This stick bag is wonderful. This is the second bag I've purchased from VF. Very sturdy construction, beautiful leather (embroidery) and pockets for music storage (scores/ sheet music) & drum hardware (drum keys, tuning forks, metronome, etc.). This bag can also be worn as a backpack (straps included). Excellent job, no wonder VF is #1!
I love this because it is easy to travel with and very easy to store. I suggest that everyone should buy one for yourself and one for a friend.
I've been using this bag for about 4 years, lasts 100's of gigs and keeps on going. Stores many pairs of sticks, mallets, brushes, a nice little pocket for drum keys and small hdwr parts. the Outer pockets are great for mic cords and mics. The only draw back is that, as far as stick bag goes...this gets very heavy, but considering all the gear you can hall in it, I suppose thats not a bad thing at all.
When brand new, the bag is a little stiff. The bag does hold a lot of mallets and sticks. I wish there was a flap to fold over the mallet heads. The pockets are a good size, but you really can't put sheet music in them, unless you fold the sheet music up. I am happy with the purchase.
This bag is awesome! It's got plenty of room for sticks and mallets, plus repair basics you might need at any given time.
All in all probably the best stick bag for its price around. I love its size and all its additional features including the pocket large enough to fit sheet music. Only problem I have is that the sticks inside the bag tend to move around a lot, other than that nothing really.
