Comments about Vic Firth Jack DeJohnette Signature Drumsticks:

I love these Vic Firth Jack DeJohnette sticks. They always feel great in my hands - balanced, just the right weight, I can dig in or lay off, they encourage me to play dynamically. Love the wooden tips. They really give me a range of strikes and sounds.

    Awesome

Comments about Vic Firth Jack DeJohnette Signature Drumsticks:

These were my first pair of sticks i ever bought & i picked them up just because of the visual flair. But now i've been playing drums for a good while & i've got to say they feel amazing. The weight & reach feels comfortable & not overly different from a 5A stick. I really appreciate this pair. I recommend them to any style player.

Comments about Vic Firth Jack DeJohnette Signature Drumsticks:

THese sticks are amazing, they are longer than most so you get that extra reach, and they are just weighted perfectly. Best feeling drums sticks I've ever bought. But mine cracked yesterday. Gunna hev to get more.

    My Stick of Choice

    By JSV

    from Mass

Comments about Vic Firth Jack DeJohnette Signature Drumsticks:

For the drummer with a little marching experience, these sticks will feel more at home. I find that these sticks play similar to my Ralph Hardimon's on a practice pad (dispite the obvious diameter difference). They kinda look alike too. I play Jazz, Blues, and Rock with the JDjohnette's, and I have no issues at all. I prefer the White-Wood tips for they give a awesome woody sound on the ride. Plus, I find these wood tips outlast the typical 5A by alot. These sticks shed and splinter about the same as any other stick, but I rarely get a bad break. Summing it up: Rods, brushes, mallets aside; I never use ANY other stick for my kit playing. JDjohnetts' are my retirement sticks.

    GREAT STICKS!!!

    By Markell

Comments about Vic Firth Jack DeJohnette Signature Drumsticks:

I have used these particular sticks for going on 3 years now. They give you great reaction on the ride cymbal, and the balance of these sticks are remarkable. Really good engineering in a drum stick. I would recommend these sticks to anyone!!

    Expensive and worth it

    By Joe

    from Madison WI

Comments about Vic Firth Jack DeJohnette Signature Drumsticks:

I've been looking for nylon tip version of these sticks, as the wood version has served me well. I tried these out gigging last week and they were great, as I expected. Feel good in the hand, no slipping with the lacquer finish. Nylon tips sound great on the cymbals, as you'd expect. I am curious to see how many shows I get per pair of sticks... But through two shows the finish has not been worn off at all. Great sticks.

Great Balance / Feel Perfect / Very Durable

    By Sergio DiLorenzo

    from North Carolina

Comments about Vic Firth Jack DeJohnette Signature Drumsticks:

If you are like me, one who likes a little more length (lets stay clean here) to their stick, then you love these babies. The DeJohnette series sticks have great balance with a yet solid, not brittle, especially when on the rim shots, as I like too. Not to mention, If you like the bead a little smaller then that of a regular 5-A stick, you will really like these, for they are not to small as you find on other small bead type sticks, but smaller then regular 5-A as already mentioned. This is a great comfort when you need to be subtle and/or when the time calls for a smack down, they have that little extra added durability then that of the smaller bead sticks. I play all styles, and like most have different sticks for different situations, since using these DeJohnette series from Vic Firth, I can tell you that I have knocked out over 80% of my inventory. Overall; Excellent feel and Balance with the added durability of a quality stick. From Hard Metal to Cool Jazz your covered . Great stick a must for the all around drummer, the name says it. Jack DeJohnette.....
