The larger size head helps me to fill out the low end sound in the drum line. The drum instructor is very impressed with my choice of mallets.

        A great buy.

        By Lee-18BEB

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Marching Bass Mallets:

For the past two years our bass line has been using Vater marching bass mallets. These mallets only lasted until our 3rd football game. (high school) After mine snapped clean in half at practice I went and ordered a pair of the Vic Firth marching mallets. Musicians Friend got them to my house in 3 days flat! The Vic Firth mallets have a great balance to them, and makes 32nd bass runs a breeze. I would highly recommend these mallets to any serious bass player. Vic Firth knows what they are doing when it comes to marching.

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Marching Bass Mallets:

I've used them on my schools drum line and i have to say that they are amazing,if i had to compare them to a snare stick i would have to say that they are like a ScoJo or Ralphies.

        Best Mallets ever!

        By Jason Wilkinson

        from Edgerton KS

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Marching Bass Mallets:

I love these mallets! They're the best I've ever used. Great grip and great power to get that big boom. Although they break often I would still consider them the best.

        Good Mallet!

        By Brandon -YFONg

        from Buckhannon, WV

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Marching Bass Mallets:

I was a bit skeptical at first if these mallets would fit my liking, but after I got them I knew I would like them. Vic Firth once again has made a great mallet. I like how the end of the mallet gets larger for better grip and you can also do bass rolls with them unlike those square Ludwig mallets which you have to throw your arm into it.

        Best Ever

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Marching Bass Mallets:

I have used this brand of bass drum mallets for years, and they have consistently been my favorite. Though they are a bit heavier than aluminum mallets, they are sturdier and provide a great sound from any size bass drum. The range of sizes accomidates most ensembles, too.

        Awesome!

        By Mr. Bane

        from Provo, UT USA

Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Marching Bass Mallets:

I love these bass mallets. Even though I break about four a season, if I used any other kind, the number would double that. Not to mention the one pair that just won't break that I've had for about a year now.
