Wow this product is amazing, I've had them for about a year now and they still look like new. They muffell a ton but if your practicing with a group you can still hear everyone else. It really is a studio sound. Now i have thrown mine around and everything and they still are all shiny and scratch free. I highly reccomend.
I bought these because I practice my drums in my basement which has 8 foot ceilings. When you start playing hard, your ears will hurt. These headphones do 2 things for me. They considerably muffle the sound of my drums and cymbals and as an added bonus, they make my steel snare sound awesome! They fit comfortably albeit a little snug and they will not come loose if you are playing very hard. I like this model over the corded one because I can even take put these on when I'm mowing the lawn or using some of my power tools; and it's way cheaper than the corded model. I should have bought these a long time ago because they help me out greatly. Obviously if you play soft, you don't need them but if you hit hard, these will definitely help you out. Also, the picture shows a blue color but you will get them in black. Awesome product.
Spare yourself the disappointment and save some money. These will do what you bought them for until they break. In particular, the pivot where the ear cup connects to the headband is complete crap. Go to your local safety supply store and get the real thing. They'll be better and cheaper.
