The Vic Firth Single-Sided/Divided Practice Pad has both soft rubber for quiet practice and hard rubber for intensifying the workout and hearing each stroke. Features a dense wooden base for an authentic feel. Nonskid rubber base. 8mm mounting thread.
I know a lot of people who prefer 2 sided pads but I personally prefer this one. It allows you to easily switch between the two surfaces which makes for easier, and a more constant practice. No problems with anything on it physically and for the price, well, you cant beat it. Go out there and get this pad!

I just think that this practice pad is amazing. Everyday I sit in my room and practice on this pad for at least an hour and it has great quality and no other pad can match this one. I enjoy the divided pad surfaces which allows you to get two different feels which allows you to practice more comfortably by using the surface that appeals to you more.Also for the price, cant be beat, a must have.
