out of all the sticks ive owned these are the best hands down...they are perfect for jazz and give great stick definition on cymbals especially the ride...the balance and feel, and rebound after. they get some moisture in them they are perfect...they make playing easier...try em out
I couldn't play in a combo with any other stick. I use the wood tips, and they have the best definition, rebound, and quality of any stick i've seen. Ridiculously lightweight, perfectly balanced, it literally makes playing easier. I can't imagine playing with anything else. I use them for basically anything genre wise as well, exceptions being maybe big band, and metal/hard rock. They tend to be quite long lasting, but the best part overall is they're sound snare-wise. Get some cross-stick action going, and it gives you a beautiful bright crack that echoes through the room. Beautiful stick, super cheap, if your playing small venue gigs with a combo, you literally can't ask for anything better
