    overall theyre great. they last so much longer than wood ones. but they are really flexible so in some of my harder strokes, they bend as i strike, they get worne but they last. i perfer the wood vic firth because i just like the feel better. so the quesstion is this. firm feel or long lasting.

    These sticks from Vic Firth are a great innovation in drumming. They combine the sturdiness of a stick and the tonal qualities of a brush to make one excellent sounding drum stick. Size-wise, it is close to the diameter of a 5B drum stick. This stick can be used for countless genres of drumming, from Jazz, to soft rock or reggae, and even pop. As a drummer myself, I highly recommend these sticks as an essential in every drummer?s stick bag.

    I got these multi rods on July 8, 2007 and on that day was the day I would play with the Vic Firth Rute 505 Multi Rods. When I am not playing with my Vic Firth American Classic 8D Nylon tip drumsticks, I am playing with these. They give soft sound which is awesome. Get them now!
