  • Best Jazz/Fusion sticks on the market

As reviewed by Schmidy on 8/31/2010

After playing TONS of other sticks, I have yet to find one that generates that "classic" sound on cymbals like these sticks do. As an added bonus, the taper and length of the stick make it almost play itself. I am finally able to play uptempo jazz cleanly. The shaft is more like a 5A than a traditional jazz 7A, so I can still pull out power when I need it. Unless I'm playing extremely hard rock, this is the ONLY stick I will ever use.

  • Ok sticks

As reviewed by David on 3/7/2011

these are ok sticks. If you just play for fun they are good, but not for proformances. The picture is misleading as well. They don't have nylon tips like it shows and that's why I bought them. They are wood tips and I hate that, but I only use them for backup.

  • Not my favorite stick

As reviewed by JV on 3/23/2010

These Ride sticks are well suited for rear weight lovers, which I am not. I like more tip weight. I find that these sticks force me to play a bit differently than I am used too. They are very durable and sound nice on the ride. But now I use my only pair on the practice pad, which is a good thing to try and control differently balanced sticks.
