Blemished items are customer returns, open box, ding n dents and re-stocked items. These items are in great condition and very similar to new, except for packaging that may show wear or may not be original. Not covered by manufacturer warranty, but covered by our 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee.
Made of non-slip pure rubber, they offer realistic action. Includes 12", 13", 14", 16", 22", hi-hat and cymbal (crash/ride) mutes.
I dont really use these anymore, but they are very effective mutes for drums and cymbals. The cymbals will have a nasty ring after you hit them, at least with the crashes. The drums will still keep pitch, but will not make the full sound. The snare will still respond, but at a much quieter volume. If you live in an apartment, I reccomend these to help the neighbors.

i had two options this morning, give up the drums as it was driveing my family insane, or find a way to quite them, two hours latter i apllyed these to my set and began to practice, my family asked at dinner why i haddent been practiceing today, (i usualy do five to seven hours a day, spred out over the entire day.) i kept to my usualy scedual and will never give up druming.

If you are living with your family and you would prefer them to not go insane, this is the answer. These pads dramaticly "silence" your drum set. Also, if you are so angry that you are going to explode and you want to go let your anger out on your drumset, these will keep your drumheads from dents. Overall, great product! (p.s. The bass drum pad's foam will thin out after a while due to the beater hammering on it.)

I just bought my TAMA imperialstar 2 weeks ago. Ive noticed that while I was learning to play my new drum set I was making very loud noises. This kit is great for your new and old drum set. IT is perfect for people who live in apartments and that need a noise reduction. It has the best quality ever because its rubber and not foam. They do silence your drums but also they let you feel the sound and the vibartions. IT is amazing. I highy recommend this for indoor noise reduction, apartments. And your neighbors will thank you for it.

I am completely satisfied with this product. Our dining room has been converted into what we call the music room complete with guitars, amps, drums, organ, harmonicas, you name it. The drums; more than anything else, can make it hard to concentrate. I purchased the drum mutes as a Christmas gift for my son and notice that he does spend more time practicing and no one seems to mind when he does. He still gets good tones and realistic chops while his younger brothers have no problem with concentrating on homework. I enjoy listening and am still able to take a phone call when I need to. I don't know the life span and have been told that they wear out, but I will definatley replace them when they do.
