These are some fantastic drumsticks- I hit the drums hard, and have blown through some other, heavier sticks in a matter of weeks, but the Harvey Mason sticks have lasted me two months now, and while they're pretty shredded, they still seem solid. They've got excellent stick definition on my ride, and my other cymbals sound very crisp, too. They also make snare rolls particularly easy, and can get a good crack. They're also the first sticks I've had that I can use for heavy rock drumming or lighter jazz or acoustic drumming, because while they're fairly thick, they're also light. This means I won't snap them when I beat on my drums, but I have control and dynamics, too.
