I got this practice pad about a year ago and it still is working as great as the first day I got it! It is loud, but that means that you can hear every hit and focus on your technique. I wouldn't recommend playing it at night because of the loudness it could possibly wake up people in your house. The only problem I have ever had with it is some of the letters of "exactopad" written at the top of the pad can come off if you get them wet and try to wipe the liquid off. i made that mistake and the E and X have come off. it is not to heavy but can take a heavy hit! It isn't to light so it is easy to carry. The pad has been been very reliable I imagine it will last me for years to come! If you buy this you wont regret it.
